American Fire Company No. 1, 26 East Patterson Street, Lansford, Pa. Carbon County District 15. First organized in 1887 and chartered in December 1894. The original building was built in 1906 (I found another account that states 1894) and was shared with the Town Council. It is unknown when the east side addition was built. The old two story section was razed in May of 2013 and the new engine bays were opened in the summer of 2014. Across the street was the Lansford EMS garage. They were placed out of service in June 2013, Lehighton Ambulance (Summit Hill station) now covers Lansford Borough.
