These are a continuation of the flooding pictures I posted yesterday. The first two will be my "Barn Charm" for today. The second two show the flooding from the Conodoguinet Creek at Ramps Covered Bridge, a covered bridge that crosses over the creek. The Conodoguinet flows left to right behind the barn on the top two pictures.
ps. I think I now have all my barns linked together under the "Barns" label.
I am glad you entered this...love that barn. and I hope you have more to show us in the future.
ReplyDeleteIt must be rather scary when that much rain falls.
ReplyDeleteThat barn looks almost like it is on an island.
My goodness! From the water level under the covered bridge pics, the water is WAY high... will the covered bridge be ok & make it thru the flooding? That's awful... the barn, however, & the covered bridge are both so beautiful & really stand out in the landscape!
ReplyDeleteThanks! =)
Oh, dear...I though the flooding we had here in VA was bad...this looks terrible. We lost more from our creek bank and had lots of water running through the yard and the barn, but no real damage to speak of...just mess. I really like the rustic quality of the big barn. It is charming and so full of personality.
ReplyDeleteOh my are you all okey? Hope the water subsided now and no more torrential rain.
