US Lightship Chesapeake

The United States Lightship Chesapeake is docked at Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland.  Lightships were ships that acted like a lighthouse, often in water too deep to built a permanent lighthouse. Built in 1930, this ship, LV-116, was last used at the mouth of the Delaware Bay in 197 and was decommissioned the next year.
