Camp sat about 100 yards from the shore of Solitary Lake. Unfortunately for the fishermen in camp it offered no relief from the mid-day boredom. But it did supply us with all the water we needed. We looked across it the first night in camp and watched a couple of mule deer doe feeding on the hillside below where I am standing.
