Shippensburg University Fountain

The fountain in front of Shippensburg University's Old main was a gift from the class of 1896 and for 115 years it sat there as a symbol of the Cumberland valley Teachers School, The Cumberland Valley Normal School, Shippensburg State College and Shippensburg University. In January of 2012 it was removed and shipped back to Alabama for restoration. It was commissioned by the J. W. Fiske, Company in New York. After repairs the fountain was rededicated on June 2, 2012. This was taken earlier this spring before it was operational for the summer.
