The Keeper's House

The original Keeper's house for the Concord Point Lighthouse, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, was a single story house built along with the Lighthouse in 1827. (The light is across the street) John O'Neill was the first Lighthouse Keeper. He served for $350 a year until his death in 1838. In 1884 the roof was raised to a two-story level and the attached kitchen was improved.
