Easton Fire Department, old Central Station



City of Easton Fire Department, Central Station, 11 North 6th Street, Easton, Pa. Northampton County Station 20. Fire service in Easton started in 1797 with the Humane Fire Company. The city's paid department was established in 1879. In 1882 a new Central Station was built on North 6th Street and became the home of Engine Company 1. This station sits across 6th Street from the current Central Station. Since closing it has housed the Valley Ambulance Service and a dance studio.
