Took a quick weekend away. We drove south to New Market, Virginia, through Luray and into Shenandoah National Park, entering the Skyline Drive at Thornton Gap (mile 31.5) and spent the night at the Big Meadow Lodge. Big Meadow is at the 51.2 mile point on the 105 mile long Skyline Drive. It was relaxing, I wish it could have been a little longer. This old snag is at Little Devils Stairs Overlook at mile 20.1 (measured north to south).
