Alamosa NWR's Hawks

Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge is an 11,169 acre refuge in the San Luis Valley southeast of Alamosa, Colorado.  We took just a quick detour though a piece of it and saw several hawks. Now, this is the difficult part of birding, and that would be identifying them. There are so many subtle differences. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) these are both Swainson's Hawks. The first is a light phase juvenile and the second is a dark phase.
