Indian River County Emergency Services, Station 12

Indian River County Emergency Services, Station 12, 3620 49th Street, Vero Beach (Gifford), Florida. Firefighting in Vero Beach was organized in 1921 and the Vero Beach Volunteer Fire Department was formed December 17, 1923. In 1980 they formed the South Indian River County Fire District and by a referendum vote in 1991 they became the Indian River County Department of Emergency Services (now IRCES). Station 12 was built in 2009/2010.
