City of Staunton Fire and Rescue, Station 1, 500 North Augusta Street, Staunton, Virginia. Organized in 1790, SFR is a career department with two stations. Station 2 is located on Grubert Avenue. The Station 1 museum houses their 1911 Robinson fire engine, the oldest motorized apparatus in Virginia and the only remaining one of it's kind. The outdoor 9/11 Memorial was dedicated 9/11/2011.
