McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company










McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company, 112 East Maple Street, McConnellsburg, Pa. Fulton County Company 56. First meeting was held January 8, 1931. The original station was a garage on Lincoln Way West. In 1939 they converted the old United Presbyterian Church into a firehouse. A new fire station was built on East Maple Street and dedicated April 20, 1956 and added onto in 1976. In 2007 they built a new engine house next door. EMS started in 1952 and took over the old East Maple Street station in 2007 when the fire apparatus moved out.
