Trafford Fire Company No. 1





Trafford Fire Company No. 1, 414 Brinton Street, Trafford, Pa. Westmoreland County Station 86. Trafford Borough built two hose houses in 1904 for the Trafford Volunteer Fire Company. A reorganization in  November 1911 brought a name change to Trafford Fire Company. Another reorganization in January 1925 brought on another new name, Trafford Fire Company No. 1 and a new station on Duquesne Street. They were finally chartered June 10, 1927. The fire house saw additions and renovations in 1950 and was eventually torn down in 2013. A new Public Safety Building was constructed on Brinton Street and opened in 2012.
