Goldsboro Volunteer Fire Company








Goldsboro Volunteer Fire Company, 700 Old Line Road, Goldsboro, Maryland. Caroline County Station 700. Incorporated April 22,1948. Like a lot of small volunteer companies their first firehouse was a local garage, they eventually moved into the old post office. In 1962 they purchased the lot next door and built a new engine room in 1967. September 1975 a new building was built behind the firehouse for more apparatus. A new 4-bay station was built and dedicated September 12, 1986. The old station was sold in March of the following year. A new social hall was approved in April 1995, in July the hall was destroyed by fire. A new hall was opened in May 1996.
