Badlands National Park

Established as a National Monument in 1939 and promoted to a National Park in 1978. Driving through here, even on a gloomy day was beautiful. To see the landscape change as we drove from one end to the other had us wishing for more time. I would have liked to do a little more hiking than we did. Maybe next time.
