DeKalb County Fire Rescue, Station 15, 2107 Flightway Drive, Chamblee, Georgia. DCFR covers all unincorporated areas of DeKalb County and all incorporated areas with the exceptions of Decatur, Atlanta and Stone Mountain Park. They are the busiest department in Georgia. Serving since 1937 with 26 stations, 600 firefighters and 10,000 calls a year. Station 15, "Flight Fifteen", opened in 1993, serves the City of Chamblee and Peachtree, and the DeKalb County Airport. It is also the home of the 1st Battalion.
