Woodstock Fire Department, Inc., 121 West Court Street, Woodstock, Virginia. Shenandoah County Station 12. Formed in March 1823 as the Shenandoah Fire Company, they changed their name in the 1930's. Also in the 30's the original section of the firehouse was built in 1933, with additions in 1961 and 1984. WFD covers the town of Woodstock and the surrounding area, including an 11 mile stretch of Interstate 81.
