Colonial Park Fire Company No. 1






Colonial Park Fire Company No. 1, 433 South Houcks Road, Harrisburg. Pa. Dauphin County Station 33. CPFC1 was founded February 7, 1944, their first engine was housed in a garage behind the financial secretary's store. The first station open in 1966 at 4520 Jonestown Road. In 1954 2 bays were added, and in 1968 another addition was added. On December 21, 1974 Station 2 was opened at 733 Firehouse Road. In 1990 Station 1 was renovated and in 1997 Station 2 saw renovations. On December 11, 2000 Station one was sold. In 2001 property was purchased along South Houcks Road and the new station opened in 2005. Colonial Park Fire protect the southwest area of Lower Paxton Township.
