First official stop of the trip was Antique Archaeology in LeClaire, Iowa. They are right along the Mississippi River and so close to the border with Illinois that the exit ramp is before the Welcome to Iowa sign. Being a fan of the American Pickers television show, I've tried multiple times over the past 5 years to stop in, this time our timing worked out. If nothing else it is a free museum of things we've all seen before. Exit through the gift shop.
