Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, East Homestead Station 65, 1350 SE 24th Street, Homestead, Florida. MDFR was formed in 1935 from a single unit fire patrol. Currently there are 71 stations protecting the unincorporated parts of Miami-Dade County. Station 65 was built in 2007 and houses a ladder truck and a rescue (ambulance).
