Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department, 16104 Frederick Road, Woodbine, Maryland. Howard County Department 4. Formed in October 1944, LVFD started out in a garage, building their first station in 1950. Another station was opened in 1960 at 1330 Woodbine Road. Ground was broken for the current station April 7, 2018 and the new station was dedicated September 18, 2021. A social hall is planned for the east side of their new house. LVFD is a combination career/volunteer department and operate with an engine, rescue engine, water supply tanker, 2 ambulances, 2 brush trucks and 3 utilities.
