Wellington Fire Protection District, Station 1, 8130 3rd Street, Wellington Colorado. Larimer County Station 16. Established as the Wellington Fire Department in 1905, in 1951 WFPD was formed and since 2016 they have been a combination career/volunteer station running out of two stations. Station 17, is located along County Route 66 in Fort Collins. The Administration offices are around the corner on McKinley Avenue.
