St. Lucie County Fire District, Station 4, 3601 Industrial 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, Florida. A 1959 Florida act created the St. Lucie County/Fort Pierce Fire District, in 1996 the name was shortened to St. Lucie County Fire District. StLCFD is the 5th largest fire and EMS provider in the state. Station 4, at the Treasure Coast International Airport, was dedicated in March 2008. The old station, located around the corner at 2850 Aviation Way in Fort Pierce was built in 1964 and is currently signed as part of the County Sheriffs Department.
