Indianola Volunteer Fire Company, former station, 898 Route 910, Indianola, Pennsylvania. Former Allegheny County Station 173. Indianola VFC was founded in 1952 and was a part of Indiana Township Fire Department, along with Dorseyville, Middle Road and Rural Ridge Fire Companies. IVFC disbanded in June 2008. The old station is currently used by the U.S. Post Office for Indianola, Pa, 15051, and a commercial property.
