New Midway Volunteer Fire Company, 12019 Woodsboro Pike, New Midway, Maryland. Frederick County Station 9. Established September 13, 1926, their first firehouse was a small garage built in 1926. That station was replaced by another garage built in 1936 behind Renner's Motors Company (visible in the second photo). A third larger station, built in 1950, still stands (also visible in the second photo) beside the current station that was built in 1985. NMVFC is 100% volunteer.
