Birding on the Fly
Some people may think this is a sign of a more deeply rooted problem. Too much time on my hands? Boredom? I don't know. I happen to enjoy hanging out on the deck trying to catch pictures of the Goldfinches landing on the thistle feeder. But, that's just me.

Tulip
This is from a couple of weeks ago. It seems the tulips came and went really quick. Lots of pollen on this one.

Dwarf Irises, Allium, Gerbera Daisies and Bearded Dianthus. All thanks to the April showers. I guess.

Allium
The allium bloomed this past week, too. It is still not at full bloom, but it will soon be it's full trufula-self. And, why yes, I Googled "purple puffball flower" to get the official name for this one.

Aquilegia
Columbine. It's is actually a wild flower that has been brought into the home garden. These are the colors I currently have blooming. My white ones disappeared a few years ago and my red/yellow ones I planted from seed started to green up this spring but then I lost them. I just planted more seeds this past weekend. But the Colorado Blue ones I have not found anywhere yet.

Backyard Full of Birds
It was a very productive weekend at the old outskirt's backyard feeders. American Robin, Red-winged Blackbird, Northern Cardinal, Common Grackle, Blue Jay, Downy Woodpecker and a Tufted Titmouse. Not including the Mourning Doves, Goldfinches, House Finches, House Sparrows, Chipping Sparrows and the Yellow Bellied Sapsucker that kept flying by and wouldn't stop.
