McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company, 112 East Maple Street, McConnellsburg, Pa. Fulton County Company 56. First meeting was held January 8, 1931. The original station was a garage on Lincoln Way West. In 1939 they converted the old United Presbyterian Church into a firehouse. A new fire station was built on East Maple Street and dedicated April 20, 1956 and added onto in 1976. In 2007 they built a new engine house next door. EMS started in 1952 and took over the old East Maple Street station in 2007 when the fire apparatus moved out.
Steelton Fire Department, 185 North Front Street, Steelton, Pa. Dauphin County Company 50. Once six separate companies but operating as the Steelton Fire Department, by 1984 the remaining three stations, Citizens #1, West Side #3 and Baldwin #4, merged and moved into one station on Front Street. Steelton Fire Companies: Citizen's Hose Co. #1, 1882 - 1984. Paxtang Hook and Ladder #2, 1888 - 1970's. West Side Hose Company #3, 1898 - 1984. Baldwin Hose Company #4, 1900 - 1984. Hygienic Hose Company #5 (later the Hygienic Hose and Rescue #7) 1904 - ? East Side Hose Company #6, 1907 - 1970's.
City of Staunton Fire and Rescue, Station 1, 500 North Augusta Street, Staunton, Virginia. Organized in 1790, SFR is a career department with two stations. Station 2 is located on Grubert Avenue. The Station 1 museum houses their 1911 Robinson fire engine, the oldest motorized apparatus in Virginia and the only remaining one of it's kind. The outdoor 9/11 Memorial was dedicated 9/11/2011.
Glasgow Life Station and First Aid Crew, Station 2, South Lee Highway, Natural Bridge, Virginia. Rockbridge County. Founded November 4, 1951. Station was a former Sinclair gas station built in 1940 and remodeled in 1957 to a Texaco. Not sure when the Glasgow Crew moved in.
