Okeechobee County Fire Rescue, Station 4, 1199 NE 168th Street, Okeechobee (Eagle Island), Florida. The Okeechobee County Fire Department was established in 1977. In 1980 they merged with the County Hospital Ambulance forming Okeechobee County Fire Rescue. OCFR is a combination career/volunteer department. Located in the north side of the county, Station 4 was opened in 2008 and is one of the three career stations. The building houses a paramedic engine and a paramedic rescue.
