Westmoreland City Volunteer Fire Department, 8650 Broadway Street, Westmoreland City (North Huntington Twp), Pennsylvania, Westmoreland County Station 3. Organized in 1925 and chartered in 1927 WCVFD in one of 7 stations in the Township. Responding to an average of 250 calls per year, apparatus includes an engine, a rescue pumper, vent truck, squad (pickup) and a UTV. Equipment was first housed in a garage on Third Street, their first permanent station was built in 1938-1939 on Main Street. The current firehouse was built in 1958 and dedicated August 23, 1959 "in memory of our departed brothers".
