Strinestown Community Fire Company, Station 1

Strinestown Community Fire Company, Station 1, 5690 Susquehanna Trail, Manchester, Pennsylvania, York County Station 26. Organized October 4, 1953 and chartered January 25, 1954. Originally three pieces of apparatus were stored in a 2 bay garage, the current firehouse was built in 1980 and expanded in 2003. In 2005 a second station was built on Fisher Drive, moving apparatus out of the township building. Coverage area is mainly Conewago Township and Station 1 is equipped with two engines, a tanker, rescue and utility.

Mardela Springs Volunteer Fire Company, Inc.

Mardela Springs Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., 101 Station Street, Mardela Springs, Maryland, Wicomico County Station 9. Established in 1927. A variety of cornerstones mark Mardela Community Hall (the two-story brick building on the right) 1935, Mardela Fire House 1955, M.L.A. 1965 and Mardela Springs Vol. Fire Co. Erected 1994. The 1994 construction included demolition of everything left of the original 1935 structure and building the brick addition and the 3 bay steel building. And finally adding 2 more bays sometime between 2013 and 2020. Apparatus includes an engine/tanker, rescue engine, tanker, brush, EMS, command unit and two ambulances.

Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department

Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department, 370 Commercial Street, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County Station 117. Established 1916 and chartered 1929. Their prior station was oat 425 Bower Hill Road at the borough building, it opened December 15, 1948. Ground was broken at the present station June 29, 1996 and a dedication was held April 26, 1997.  Apparatus includes a heavy rescue, engine, aerial, squad and utility.

Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department

Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 161 Vanadium Road, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County Station 255. Established 1924 to cover the southern portions of Scott Township. Originally housed in a single bay garage on Montgomery Avenue, property was then acquired on Vanadium Road in 1953, two bays were added in 1967, a second floor added in 1980 and a large scale renovation was undertaken in 2006. Ambulance service began in 1956 and in 1997 the ambulance service joined with Glendale Hose Company to form Scott Township EMS. Apparatus includes three engines, a squad and command vehicle.

Los Angeles Fire Department Station 112, Fire Boat 2

Los Angeles Fire Department, Station 112, 444 South Harbor Boulevard (Berth 86), San Pedro (Los Angeles), California.  Station 112 is a part of the South Bureau and house Engine Company 112, Rescue Ambulance 112, EMS 6 and Fire Boat 2 - the Warner L. Lawrence Fire Boat. This station was built in 1995. LAFD was formed in 1886 and is the third largest municipal department in the U.S.
