More birds from my birdwalk on Asseteague Island, Virginia, last Christmas. First picture is some Buffleheads (females). This ducks were elusive that weekend. I got alot of pictures of them swimming away from me. Second and Third picture shows some Northern Shovelers. I think of all the pictures I took this day this is the only one where any of them have their heads up. And the last is a Lesser Scaup (correct me if I'm wrong), probably an immature one. I spent a while looking this one up. Found him near where I got the Buffleheads.
