While wandering through Chinatown we saw this guy. I think he was sizing the crabs and putting them in different baskets.
I don't often go artistic on my pictures. I prefer to see them as the are. Lighten them, boost the color and sharpen. Not always all three but one or two of those options. Maybe, on occasion, switch to black and white. I posted two version of the same picture here.

Like them both. Also like these type of markets.
I am drawn to him smoking right over the basket of crabs. Good thing I don;t eat them because that would turn me away.
It is about time for a road trip don't you think. I have not shot since we went away last November. I may need to learn how to use the camera again.

What is worse... smoking while seperating the crabs or the fact that he is in an open market on the sidewalks of New York City?
(I think I invited you on this trip to NYC)
Middle Creek should be happening soon shouldn't it? My shooting has been limited lately also. 120 pictures last weekend. All of the FP Buggy.
You may have, it has been so busy I don't remember.
We missed Middle Creek, the peak was ended last week. I never made it, just like I never got to do any winter whotetail or elk shooting.
I will still be watching and I still don't eat crabs.
