Hygienic Hose Company No. 5, Steelton Volunteer Fire Department, old station, 410 North Harrisburg Street, Steelton, Pa. Dauphin County. Organized October 14, 1904 to protect the citizens of Steelton's Hill area north of Harrisburg Street. News articles show them wanting to build a new firehouse around 1910. They disbanded at some point and reorganized as the Hygienic Hose and Rescue No. 7. In 1984 the remainder of Steelton's volunteer stations merged into the new station on Front Street as the Steelton Fire Department.
