Taylor Hose and Engine Company No. 1, 614 Union Street, Taylor, Pa. Lackawanna County Station 95-1. Also known as Taylor Fire department. Established in 1894. The monument at the flag pole is in honor of Foreman Joseph P. Czerw who died in the line of duty while fighting a structure fire on February 27, 1982.
