Hancock Fire Company, 820 West Airy Street, Norristown, Pa. Montgomery County Station 27E. Formed November 21, 1895, they built their original station in November 1896. That firehouse was upgraded in September 1903 adding electric and restrooms. New bays were added in March of 1987. The older portion of the station was demolished in September 2002 and a new station was built to replace it in October 2003.
