Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department, 312 Colonial Avenue, Colonial Beach, Westmoreland County, Virginia. Old Station at 10 South Irving Avenue, Colonial Beach, Virginia. Started in March of 1894, their original firehouse was built in 1896. In 1907 they moved into the town hall, the next station was built in 1940 and a second story was added in 1952. The current station was built in 1961. The CBVFD is an all volunteer department with just one employee working 5 days a week. Call volume is about 600 per year.
