Spearfish Fire Department, Station 1, 622 North Canyon Street, Spearfish, Lawrence County, South Dakota. Established in 1881, the department almost disbanded in 2016. After a vote to not disband they turned operations over to a newly created paid/volunteer city department.The SFD operates out of 3 station, Station 2 is on Heritage Drive on the southside of town, Station 3 just recently opened along US-14 on the northwest side.
