Hershey Volunteer Fire Company, 21 West Caracas Avenue, Hershey, Pa. Dauphin County Station 48. Organized August 31, 1905, their first station was on East Chocolate Avenue. Their new station on West Caracas Avenue was dedicated June 23, 1928. February 1956 brought a 2-bay addition to the east and another addition on the west side with bays, offices and a kitchen came in 1970. Early in 2015 major renovations began on the west side and on April 23, 2016 an open house was held for the completed new station based around the original 1928 station.
