Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department







Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department, 157 West State Street, Pleasantville, Pa. Venango County Station 16. Organized in 1932 the original equipment was housed in a shed behind the borough hall. In 1954 a garage was built behind borough hall along West State Street. In 1964 another larger station was built beside the 1964 station. Again in 1981/1982 the current station was built across the street from the old stations. The all volunteer department protect parts of Venjango, Crawford, Warren and Forrest Counties with 2 engines, 2 tankers, a brush, a rescue and an air trailer.

Friendship Fire Company No. 1 and Port Royal EMS, 212 West 4th Street. Port Royal, Pa. Juniata County Fire Company 1, EMS Company 1. Fire company established September 8, 1910. First station was located behind the bank on 3rd Street between Market and Main Street. Current station built in 1956. Ambulance services added in July 1960. Primary response coverage include Port Royal borough and Turbett and Spruce Hill Townships and parts of Milford and Walker Township. Apparatus for FFC1 include an engine, tanker, brush and UTV.

Perry Hi-Way Hose Company, Station 42

 




Perry Hi-Way Hose Company, Station 42, 501 Robison Road, East, Erie Pa., Erie County Station 42. Established in 1948, the original house-built fire truck was parked in a local gas station. Perry Hi-Way covers Summit Township and provide mutual aid to the surrounding townships. In 2016 the department became a combination career/volunteer department. A second station, Station 43, is located on Oliver Road. Apparatus at this station include an engine, ladder truck, tender, medic unit, 2 squads (ambulances) and the trench/confined space trailer.

Kinzer Fire Company









Kinzer Fire Company, 3521 Lincoln Highway East, Kinzers, Pa. Lancaster County Station 45. Fire protection began in the village in 1897 and in 1916 the Kinzer Fire Company was formed and chartered on April 13, 1916. The first station was opened in 1920 at 3576 Lincoln Way East. In 1970 land was purchased east of the firehouse. Ground was broken in the spring of 1977 and the new station was dedicated in May of 1978. A dining hall and kitchen was added and dedicated October 21, 1995. KFC run about a hundred calls every year with an engine, a tanker and squad.
