Union Fire Company No. 1








Union Fire Company No. 1, 315 Market Street, Oxford, Pa. Chester County Station 21. Organized February 6, 1871 as the Oxford Fire Company, they quickly change the name to Union Fire Company No. 1. In 1872 their first quarters was a 2 story frame building on the corner of South 3rd and Broad Streets. In 1901 the moved to the south side on Market Street and in 1921 moved across the street to their present location. In 1998 an addition was added to the rear of the station. In December of 1998 Station 2 was opened in the Nottingham area, about three and a half miles south southwest.
