Springfield Valley Volunteer Fire Department

Springfield Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Springfield Area Rescue Squad, 239 Springfield Pike, Springfield, West Virginia. Hampshire County Station 42. The Rescue Squad was formed in 1993. I've found little information as to when the the fire department was founded or when they moved from the old station up the street at the intersection of  Route 28 and Greenspring Valley Road. There is another SVVFD in the town of Green Spring, possibly a single bay substation.
