Hope Fire Company, No. 2, old station, 4 North Centre Street, Philipsburg, Pa. Former Centre County Station 11. Since 1961 HFC2 has been housed at 400 North Front Street in Philipsburg and is part of Philipsburg Fire Department, Centre County Department 57 (along with Reliance Fire Company). Established in 1887, they moved into this building in 1887, with the Town Hall on the second floor. They run about 400 calls per year with an engine, rescue, special unit, utility and UTV, until 1984 they also operated an ambulance service.
