Rothsville Volunteer Fire Company, 2071 Main Street, Rothsville, Pa. Lancaster County Station 24. Chartered November 14, 1917. First station was an old cigar factory that the apparatus responded out of the basement. A two-bay firehouse was built on Main Street in 1949. Ambulance service was added in 1952. The station was expanded in 1975 when 3 additional bays were added. Another remodel in July 2005 changed the looks drastically. Apparatus, again, is responding out of the lower level to the rear of the station.
