Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company, former station, 21 Locust Street, Ephrata, Pa. Lancaster County Station 15. First chartered as Ettla Hook and Ladder Company on July 17, 1888. Moved into the town Hall on Locust Street from January 1893 until 1924. Reorganized in 1905 as Ephrata Pioneer Steam Fire Company No. 1. Ettla Hook and Ladder disbanded in 1919 and turned over equipment to Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company. They then moved into the new Town Hall/Firehouse (this station) at 21 Locust Street in 1925. In 1968 they purchased property at 135 South State Street and broke ground for their new and current station in 1970.
