Harmony Fire District, 543 Main Street, Harmony, Pennsylvania. Butler County Station 22. HFD was formed when the Harmony Fire Department and Zelienople Fire Department consolidated services in 2015. Harmony FD was organized in 1874 and started on Main Street. In the 1930's the Department moved to another building on Main Street, with the addition of engine bays in 1886 and a meeting room in 1994. Zelienople FD was formed in 1898 and stationed equipment in the municipal building on West New Castle Street and later opened a substation on West Beaver Street. On July 1, 2023 a groundbreaking is scheduled for their future home at 424 South Main Street in Zelienople, anticipated to open in the Fall of 2024. The District includes Harmony and Zelienople boroughs as well as Jackson and Lancaster Townships.
