New Stanton Volunteer Fire Department, 108 South Main Street, New Stanton, Pennsylvania, Westmoreland County Station 25. Formed in 1950, NSVFD is one of thirteen departments in Hempfield Township. The firehouse was originally built in 1952, dedicated November 21, 1953, a bay was added in 1957, another in the mid 1960's and a renovation and expansion in 1985. They are currently planning to build a new station. Apparatus includes a rescue, an engine, truck and brush. Call volume is 450-500 per year.
