Fairview Hose Company No. 2, 9th and School Streets, Jim Thorpe, Pa. Carbon County District 11. Fairview was founded in 1907 and a July 13, 2017 bough ordinance formed the Jim Thorpe Municipal Fire Department merging the three stations. Fairview, along with Phoenix, will be recognised as the East Side Fire Stations. Fairview houses a truck, a squad and a utility.
The old station, at 881 School Street, built in 1910, continues to function as a social club.
