Rock Springs Fire Department, Headquarters Station 1, 600 College Drive, Rocksprings, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Began as Clark Hose Company in 1888, a paid department, paying $25 a year plus $1.50 per call. This company was replaced by a volunteer company, W.K. Lee Volunteer Fire Company, in August 1897. Rock Springs Fire Department, a career department, was established on August 14, 1904.
