Breezewood Volunteer Fire Company, 150 Municipal Drive, Breezewood, Pa., Bedford County Station 40. Formed as the Breezewood Fire and Relief Company No. 1 on November 13, 1947. The original firehouse, built by the members, needed to be moved due to the new Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange. Ground was broken September 12, 1967 and the current station opened in 1968.
