Timberline Fire Protection District, Station 5, 14908 CO-19, Black Hawk, Colorado. TFPD is a combination career/volunteer department formed April 1, 2011 with the merger of Colorado Sierra Fire Protection District (formed in 1971) and the High Country Fire Protection District (formed in 1969 as the Pinecliffe Area Fire Protection District). TFPD operate out of 10 stations covering parts of Gilpin, Boulder and Jefferson Counties. Station 5 is the former CSFPD Station 1. The second building, on site, is used for housing and is the former Gilpin County Search and Rescue quarters.
